Jersey City got its first Whole Foods three years ago in the thriving downtown area near the waterfront. Several residential towers away from the waterfront as well, near the Journal Square PATH train station.

The 54-story tower would rise across the street from an existing residential tower and adjacent to the historic Loews Theater, which is undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation. The address is 2873 John F. Kennedy Blvd.
