Blizzard Dumps 17 Inches Of Snow On Lacey: Latest Updates

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office was urging people to stay off the roads because many traffic lights are not working across the county.

LACEY, NJ — A dangerous blizzard has dropped at least 17 inches of snow on Lacey since Sunday, according to officials.

That total was reported at 9:15 a.m. in Lanoka Harbor, and more snow is expected throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

Jersey Central Power & Light was not giving time estimates on when power will be restored as more than 36,000 customers were out across Ocean County, but the company had brought in crews from outside the state to assist with power restoration.

More than 3,000 Lacey JCP&L customers are without power as of Monday afternoon.
