Holocaust-Genocide Resource Center Offers Events For Educators, Open to Public

West Windsor, NJ:  Mercer County Community College's Holocaust-Genocide Resource Center will host an upcoming event that is open to the public, “Echoes and Reflections” on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. on the West Windsor Campus.

“Echoes and Reflections” is open to teachers and academic supervisors for grades 6-12.  A powerful 21st century resource, it was created by ADL to connect Holocaust education to current curriculum and academic standards using interactive web-based technology.  Participants will receive an underwritten copy of this award-winning curriculum, developed by the Anti-Defamation League, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, and Yad Vashem.  The event is free and can count towards three professional development credits.  Space is limited for this event, and those interested in attending need to register via email at mcholgen@gmail.com

The event is free of charge, and refreshments will be provided.  The Holocaust-Genocide Resource Center is located on Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, on the second floor of the Library building. For more information on this and other events, visit www.mccc.edu/holocaust or email mcholgen@gmail.com.
