Learn how to preserve the flavor of Jersey fresh fruits
and vegetables from your own garden or local farmer’s market and enjoy the local harvest throughout the winter. Canning can be rewarding if you thought it was too hard or just too scary to try, get your questions answered at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System on July 25 at 2 p.m.
Philadelphia-based author and canner Marisa McClellan will be available to answer your questions about preserving your own food.
