Mercer County Man Indicted in Murder of Woman He Had 'Dysfunctional' Relationship With
Tyron Lindsay has been indicted in the murder of Jessica Prusik.

A 38-year-old Hamilton man has been indicted for the October 2015 murder of Jessica Prusik, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Tuesday.
Tyron D. Lindsay was indicted on one count of first-degree murder. He remains in the Mercer County Correction Center in lieu of $1 million bail.
Prusik’s body was found in a weeded area in Roebling Park off Sewell Street just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015. An autopsy conducted the same day determined she was murdered by manual strangulation.

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to determine that Prusik was last seen with Lindsay, the day before.
Detectives were also able to place Lindsay and Prusik in ablack 1992 Ford F150 extended cab. That truck was later discovered by police in Bristol, Pa.

Police say Lindsay was in possession of Prusik’s bank cards on Oct. 7, when he was arrested on unrelated warrants.
After identifying Lindsay as the target of the investigation, he was arrested while he was working in Lawrence Township on Oct. 27.
Prosecutors have argued that Lindsay and Prusik went to Nottingham High School together, and had gotten together in the past. Their relationship has been described as “dsyfunctional.”
Lindsay has “categorically denied” the charges.
