Six Livingston Elementary Schools Rank Among the 'Best in New Jersey'

Livingston’s elementary students are in good hands, according to a recent report.

Six of the district’s schools placed among the “Best Public Elementary Schools in New Jersey” in a recent list compiled by Niche.com, an information service provider.

The study ranked 40,403 elementary schools across the nation. Read here for a full methodology.

According to Niche.com, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”

The commended schools are:

• Collins Elementary School - Ranked #35 in New Jersey
• Burnet Hill School – Ranked #43 in New Jersey
• Harrison Elementary School – Ranked #50 in New Jersey
• Mt. Pleasant Elementary School – Ranked #54 in New Jersey
• Hillside Elementary School – Ranked #58 in New Jersey
• Riker Hill Elementary School – Ranked #63 in New Jersey
