Jewelry Store That Was Robbed In Livingston Is Hit again
The store in the Livingston Mall was robbed of $20K in merchandise in September. It's been robbed again, police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A store in the Livingston Mall that was robbed of $20,000 in merchandise in September has been struck again.
Police said that this past Sunday, at 3:07 p.m., officers responded to Roma Jewelers on a report of a theft of Jewelry.
The store's owner said a man came in and asked to see a gold chain worth $2,000.

As soon as the man was handed the necklace, he ran out of the store with it, the owner said.
The man was then "joined by another suspect who was waiting outside the store and both took off running and fled the scene," police said.

The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.
Back in September, a thief asked to see jewelry at the same store and made off with $20,000 in merchandise. And the month before that, someone asked to see jewelry at the Macy's at that mall on a Sunday night, and ran off with $87,000 in merchandise, police said.
