Livingston Cops Corral Escaped Sheep
The Livingston Police Department received one of the most unusual assignments in its history on Tuesday night.
Livingston, NJ - The Livingston Police Department received one of the most unusual assignments in its history on Tuesday night when it was asked to chase down an escaped sheep.
"Yes it's true folks Livingston Police spent about an hour and a half chasing a goat," police announced on social media around 7 p.m.
"The goat got loose from a private residence and has since been caught," police added. "This one will go in the books as a first for us."

Police later added that the "goat" was actually a sheep.
According to RLS Media, the escape took place in the area of Livingston Avenue and East McClellan Avenue when the animal gave its owner the slip.
