Cohen, Messer Win Livingston BOE Election: Unofficial Results

Livingston residents head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to vote in the 2019 general election. See local results here.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston residents headed to the polls for the 2019 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. In addition to statehouse and county races, voters chose representatives on their local board of education.

BOARD OF EDUCATION

There were four candidates competing for two seats on the Livingston Board of Education in 2019. Terms last for three years.

With 26 of 26 districts reported, it appears that - pending official certification - Seth Cohen and Samantha Messer have emerged victorious.

According to the Essex County Clerk’s Office, the unofficial results are:

  • Alyse Berger Heilpern - 1,773 (22.23%)
  • Seth Cohen - 2,116 (26.53%)
  • Sasha Pailet Koff - 1,776 (22.26%)
  • Samantha Messer - 2,278 (28.56%)
