Livingston Schools Delayed And Remote Friday
Freezing rain caused a one-hour delay Wednesday, and now they will be remote Friday. See below for the forecast.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston schools will be remote on Friday, with a predicted snowstorm on the way. The district said it announced the switch in advance to have time to prepare for the day.

The National Weather service predicted "moderate" snow for the Friday morning commute.

A message from the district said:
All Livingston Public Schools will transition to remote learning tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022. In order to be sure that teachers are able to provide Zoom links and be prepared for the day, we will operate on a delayed opening school schedule. (See link to district website below.)

Our approval from the NJ Department of Education for the remote day only applies to tomorrow, and, at this time, we fully intend to reopen our schools for in-person instruction on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022.
