LIVINGSTON, NJ — One Livingston teen will get a little extra financial help with each year of college thanks to his hard work in high school.
He's won a National Merit Scholarship, a program that awards college money to students around the country based on their test scores, grades, recommendations, and more. The process lasts more than a year, until it's culled to just a few finalists in each area.
Some winners were announced earlier this year as having won scholarships from corporations. Others will win scholarships via their chosen college.
