Ocean Twp. Fire: Man Assaulted A Cop On Day Of Arrest: MCPO

Authorities are still searching for the missing woman with whom he lived.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — One of the two people who lived in a now-burned-down Ocean Township home assaulted a police officer in Paterson the day of his arrest, authorities said. Teschner also possessed heroin that day, officials said.

The home's other resident, Jacquelin Terrulli, is still missing. Ronald Teschner had been arrested Tuesday in Paterson after he was found with shotguns in Terrulli's vehicle, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

Over two dozen officers were searching for Terrulli in the surrounding woods around the burnt-down Wickapecko Drive home, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Teschner had been charged with two counts of unlawful weapons possession, two counts of certain persons not to possess a weapon, and three counts of receiving stolen property, the MCPO announced Tuesday.

Paterson police additionally charged Teschner with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, heroin possession and eluding, the MCPO confirmed.
