$1K Of Baby Formula Stolen From Long Valley Target: Police
Police said the man used a large rubber storage tub to steal the formula.

LONG VALLEY, NJ– An arrest was made in the theft of over $1,000 worth of baby formula was stolen from a Long Valley Target, police said in a statement.
On Jan. 19, Target employees called police to report a man who had been seen leaving the store without paying for formula. During the investigation, police learned the man filled a large rubber storage bin with 38 cans of formula, put the lid on, and left the store with it. The formula was worth $1,063.62, police said.
On Feb. 3, police interviewed Alexander Wehmeyer at Passaic County Correctional Facility, after naming him as a suspect.

After the interview, he was issued a criminal complaint for shoplifting. Wehmeyer was returned Passaic County Correctional Facility, and has a pending court date in Morris County.
