66 Bags of Heroin, 6 Syringes Found in Car, Cops Say
Local police departments work together to find duo traveling with narcotics, police report.

A Hackettstown woman and Great Meadows man were arrested Monday after police found dozens of bags of heroin in their car, police said.
Hackettstown police received a notification from the Andover Township Police Department to put a stop and hold on a vehicle that may have been involved in drug activity, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
Just after 3 p.m. Monday, a Hackettstown patrol officer spotted the vehicle and stopped it on Franklin Street, Tynan said.

The driver, Dustin Fisher, 25, of Great Meadows, was in the car with a female passenger, Tiffany Michalko, 26, of Hackettstown. During an investigation, police found 66 glassine baggies stamped “Sold Out” containing suspected heroin, Tynan said. Police also found six hypodermic needles and various drug paraphernalia inside the car, Tynan said.
Michalko was found to have a $1,139 Knowlton Township warrant as well.

Fisher was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Fisher posted the $7,500 bail and was released.
Michalko was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. She posted the $7,500 bail and the bail on the outstanding warrant. She was released with a court appearance.
