Active Shooter Training Coming Up In Long Valley

Police will teach adults how to handle active shooter events.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department is hosting an active shooter response presentation for all township adults.

The presentation will teach residents how to protect themselves in the event of an active shooter incident. A question and answer session will follow.

The event is open to residents over 18 only. It'll be held at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 at police headquarters. Those interested should RSVP to Lt. Chris Bratus at cbratus@wtpdmorris.org.
