Arrests Made In 2008 Murder Of Morris County Native

Nearly nine years later, arrests have been made in the Oklahoma killing of New Jersey native Jody Rilee-Wilson.

ROXBURY, NJ — Almost nine years after her death, two arrests have been made in the Oklahoma murder of Roxbury native Jody Rilee-Wilson.

Rilee-Wilson's husband, Donald Lee Bocephus "Bo" Wilson, 39, and her mother-in-law, Edith Wilson, 57, have both charged in her 2009 murder in Heavener, Oklahoma, the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday. Both are currently in custody.

Rilee-Wilson's body was found on a mountaintop on May 8, 2009. It was badly decomposed, the Daily Record reported, and a cause of death was never established.

Bo Wilson was charged with first degree murder and unlawful disposal of human remains; Edith Wilson faces accessory after the fact charges, NorthJersey.com reported. If convicted, both face significant jail time.

Rilee-Wilson moved from Roxbury, New Jersey, to Oklahoma in 2008, and shortly afterward married Bo Wilson. The couple had a daughter, Annabelle, who is currently in protective custody.

According to NorthJersey.com, Bo Wilson had been planning to murder his wide for "three or four days" before the alleged murder happened. The cold case was re-opened after Wilson's father told authorities his son was responsible, Oklahoma news outlet KFSM reported.
