Attempted Burglary Thwarted In Long Valley, Police Say
Officers arrested a man found in the home, police said.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — An apparent attempted burglary was thwarted in town by police, police said in a statement.
Officers and a K9 responded to a Ramsey Way home for the report of a burglary in progress on Saturday night. Officers found Jacques Midouin, 50, of New York, NY, inside the bank-owned home on the property.
Midouin exited the home at officers orders, and was arrested outside the house. He was issued a criminal complaint for criminal trespass, and was released with a municipal court date.
