Bleeding Man Fled From Car Crash: Washington Township Police
Police found the bleeding man at a nearby residence.

WASHINGTON, MORRIS, NJ — A man bleeding from the face fled the scene of a crash only to be arrested later shortly afterward, Washington Township (Morris) police said in a statement.
Around 9:30 p.m. Monday night, officers responded to a one car crash on Old Farmers Road. The driver of the car was seen running away from the scene, bleeding from the face, police said.
The driver, Robert Groover II, 29, of Long Valley, was found at a nearby residence. Police said he was showing signs of being drunk, and he was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center by Long Valley First Aid for a medical evaluation.

Groover was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to keep right. He has an upcoming court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
