Deadline For Applying For Mail In Ballots Approaching Quickly

Applications for Vote By Mail Ballots must be received by the County Clerk's Office no later than 7 days prior to the Nov. 8 General Election.

Registered voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday Nov. 8, must mail applications for Vote By Mail ballots so they reach the Morris County Clerk's Office no later than 7 days prior to the Election. Applications are available on-line at the Morris County Clerk website, at the Washington Township Municipal Building or by applying in person at the County Clerk's Office in Morristown.

If you think you may be away on Election Day, or unable to make it to your polling place for some reason, you should submit a request for a Vote By Mail Application as soon as possible. Your actual Vote By Mail Ballot must be received by the County Board of Elections before the Close of Polls on Election Day.

Full information can be found on the Internet by accessing the Morris County Clerk Elections and Voting Vote By Mail (formerly Civilian Absentee Ballot) using Google or some other search engine.
