JCP&L, same old, same old

Well, neighbors, how many had yet ANOTHER power outage Sept 4 ? 3 1/2 hours for this one. SO, I talked to a ''technician'' after a lengthy wait, and here's what we covered. Outages in ''the Black Hole'' (Fairview ave, Four Bridges, Drakestown, Jones Lane etc) SO far this year 6 outages of varying length, JCPL claims that MOST were'' trees out of their right-of-way''. ??? WHO cares ! IF their highly vaunted ''circuit improvments'' and ''fuse and line'' changes were sufficient, it would NOT MATTER the CAUSE. We still get the OUTAGE anyway ! So, now, to communicate with JCP&L has improved, but here is MY suggestion ! Freakin' FIX IT SO I DON'T HAVE TO CALL !! This area has been spared many times this summer as violent weather passed around us often, but you can be damn sure that the next big t-storm OR snowfall, or high wind, can once again prove that in THIS neighborhood, it's ''business as usual''. I ask the Twp committee, WHY do we still have this, and WHY will we be looking forward to the ''same old, same old'' ? Anyone that believes JCP&L has REALLY fixed the problem, is in denial. Winter is coming, get your firewood, generator and gas stove ready.
