Today was a pretty big day for my winter season, and it's more than two months away from when we jump on snow! I qualified my second jump I will do on snow this year, called a Lay Full Full (a double twisting triple backflip).
There is a process associated with qualifying jumps which normally takes a while, and happened to take me most of the summer for my two jumps. To qualify a triple flip for snow, you need to do at least 75 of each seperate jump before you can have a coach qualify the jump for competition.
Once completing the numbers, you have to do 5 of the jump in a row, one of them with less speed than you normally would take, and one with more speed than normal, simulating the differences experienced on snow. I qualified my Lay Tuck Full (a single twisting triple backflip) on Monday, and now that I have Lay Full Full under my belt, I am totally ready for the upcoming winter season!

I'm pretty excited to get to training on snow, and I know my first triples on snow will be quite an experience!!!
Also, I have attatched a video I threw together real quick of a few jumps from the past week. Enjoy!
