With Irene and Lee fast becoming distant memories, there are still residents with flooding issues. Our firefighters are still pumping out basements and responding to the need of affected households–one of our friends on Kim Lane will have their basement pumped out again today. WT DPW crews made quick work of repairing and reopening roadways with the assistance of our police department.
For the future, much needs to be resolved to avoid communications problems that are so vital to public safety. JCP&L owes us explanations, but today, we are thankful to all of those who kept us safe.
