Numerous organizations benefited from the Chester Lions Clubs release of funds at a recent board of directors meeting.
- Chester Area Senior Housing (CASH) received funds for a project at their facility on Main Street in Chester.
- Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) was given a donation to support their continuing effort to represent youngsters in the court system.
- The USO received funds in support of our men and women serving in the military.
- The local American Legion received a donation to assist the Legion in sending two individuals to the state convention.
- Money was sent to Homeless Solutions to aid in their continued effort to help others.
