Travel and My Favorite Things

I have visited all the Sandals properties around the Caribbean, and recently returned from their newest resort, “Whitehouse” in Jamaica.

It is a beautiful place to connect as a couple. It is “all about each other” and not partying until dawn. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the long beach, and relax in three swimming pools with two swim up bars. I also enjoyed the fact that the flight to Jamaica was not a long flight from Newark.

Each morning I indulged in a chocolate croissant, latte and/or cappuccino at their French Patisserie, where they also prepared delicious crepes. The two martini bars with two types of chocolate martinis also added to my relaxing experience after a day of activities.

One of the martinis tasted like a Tootsie Roll and the other like chocolate milk. A decadent treat for people who enjoy a martini and chocolate!

My favorite thing about my recent visit, besides the martini bar, was the personal butler service. Upon check in, I was given a cell phone so I could contact him as needed, “every wish was his command.” The butlers at Sandals are professionally trained and my butler created a unique, memorable vacation.

A new romantic feature at all the Sandals properties are the fire pits, where I saw people relaxing under the stars with their special someone.

I must remember to take my special someone next time and
share my butler.
