Washington Township Paper Shredding Event Saturday April 20 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Washington Township FREE Paper Shredding/Recycling Event Saturday April 20 .

Just a reminder to all residents that the Washingon Township (Morris) Green Team Spring Paper Shredding Recycling Event will be held at the 54 Rock Road DPW Garage Saturday April 20 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. This is your opportunity to get rid of personal and business papers that have piled up in file cabinets and boxes in your home. Old tax returns, credit card statements, receipts for purchases, and other papers with personal and confidential information can be securely shredded. Why run a small personal shredder at home, which is noisy, time consuming and uses electricity? Have your confidential papers shredded quickly in an industrial size shredder.

Papers to be shredded should PREFERABLY be in "bankers size" storage boxes. A maximum limit of four boxes per household. Boxes will be returned to you after the papers have been removed from the box. NO PLASTIC BAGS. No need to remove staples, but plastic binders must be removed.

THIS IS A FREE SERVICE, and your car or SUV will be unloaded for you. This is a Rain or Shine event. The shredded material is recycled and does not wind up in landfills.
