Where are the Washington Township Meeting Minutes?

Missing and month's late posting of meeting minutes of Washington Township meetings. Where are they and why are they not posted? Is someone hiding something?

Anyone have any idea why Washington Township meeting minutes are not posted the day after a meeting is held? In corporate America, minutes are shared/posted within a day or you don't have a job. After all, they aren't useful months after a meeting took place and a decision was taken that you may or may not agree with. There are occasions where a decision could be brought back into question and action taken to reverse it, if only one knew what happened at those meetings. So, what are they hiding?

And where are the missing minutes??? Meetings took place but no minutes are on the website. Why is this?

If Washington Township wonders why many residents think the township leaders cannot be trusted - it is because there is a lack of transparency, starting with keeping the public informed. The contents of the minutes that are posted are an entirely separate blog subject.

At a recent meeting for instance, Dave Kennedy brought up the subject of the fee (a tax by another name) charged to residents with alarm systems. He suggested this be put on a future agenda for consideration for removal. Yet, you have no idea because you did not attend that meeting (only two or three of the public were there) and because the minutes are not posted. Wanna bet that this never makes a future agenda? Too many of the committee members do not want to let those funds go.
