Wolfpack Soccer Fundraising Car Wash Went Off Without A Hitch

Given the weather conditions last Friday and the gloomy forecast for the weekend, it was a sure bet that the annual fundraising event held on Sunday September 25 would be a complete wash-out.

However the sun did indeed come out on Sunday to allow Wolfpack players to perform their chores. Besides raising funds for the team, the car washing event also provided an opportunity for players from both girls and boys teams to be actively involved in team building while maintaining a worthwhile tradition.  For the sake of full disclosure, lots of parents also came out and did more than their fair share for the team.

One can always debate whether divine intervention was at work but no one can deny that the fundraising car-wash was a great success thanks to the enthusiastic support of local patrons and Wolfpack boosters.  But the icing on the cake was the win on Saturday over Newton HS by the boys varsity and boys JV teams, respectively.  The games for the girls teams were cancelled but they would most likely fare just as well, if not better.
