My Dog's Got Class

One of the most important things you can do to help your new puppy grow up to be a friendly, confident, well rounded dog is to socialize your puppy right away! This is a single registration session for puppies up to 6 months of age, where our experienced trainer will cover different topics to help jump start your puppy’s training. Topics can include housebreaking, not jumping, drop that, basic skills and more. We will also have a supervised socialization activity.
REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS EVENT MUST BE DONE AT LEAST 24-HOURS IN ADVANCED. Payments MUST be made upon registration in order to secure a spot in the class.

In Basic class, we will cover behaviors such as sit, down, wait, stay, recall, loose leash walking, leave it, drop it, and more! We will also start to add some distance, distraction, and duration to some of these behaviors and help incorporate them into everyday situations such as “wait there while I answer the door” or “sit on the scale so the vet tech can record your weight”. Our trainers are here to help you every step of the way!
This 6-week, 1-hour class is open to any dog 5 months or older. Payment is required upon registration to hold your spot.

By the mid 1950s, a new form of music dominated, Rock and Roll. But, the period wasn't all about fun and good times. Immediately after the war, a new type of war began called "The Cold War." Equal rights for many became a major issue of the period. Violence and assassinations came to mark the period along with open sexuality, protests, and drugs. Over the entire 30 years was the shadow of the Vietnam War. Music became the most dominant of art forms and became the voice of the period. In four sessions, this class will explore the music of these times.Presented by&nbsp;Dr. Robert W. This class is geared toward dogs who have completed the Basic course and are ready for the next step, including adolescent dogs. These dogs have been taught the basic skills but need to firm those up before being ready for the off leash skills in the Advanced Basic class. Many dogs struggle with impulse control so we will work on exercises to help with attention, control jumping, improve waiting and loose leash walking.
Note: Pre-requisite for this course is completion of the Basic class. Payments MUST be made upon registration in order to secure a spot in the class.

Hosted by Bill Blaskopf, this audience-participation game features a Jeopardy-style board with seven categories covering local history and life in America around 1776. Each category contains questions worth 10 to 50 points, ranging from easy to more challenging.
Here's how it works: • One participant is selected to choose a category and point value. • Bill reads the question, and the participant has up to one minute to answer. • Unlike traditional Jeopardy!, answers do not need to be in the form of a question. • While the participant is answering, everyone else records their own answer on the provided Jeopardy scorecard. • If the selected participant misses the question, anyone in the audience may offer their answer. • Players keep track of their own scores throughout the game to see who earns the highest total by the end. • Final winner of the Jeopardy game will receive two tickets to the WTHS 1776 fund raiser on Saturday, September 19.
