Julianna M. Walters was arrested and charged with theft, police said.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - A 33-year-old Freehold woman was arrested and charged with theft after a receipt linked her to the crime, according to the Washington Township Police.

According to authorities, on Feb. 12 a car dealership on Route 46 reported a vehicle stolen. The following day the vehicle was left without keys or a license plate in a parking lot in Hackettstown. A receipt from a wholesale store was located in the vehicle and the membership was linked to Julianna M. Walters, police said.

Walters was a former employee of the dealership, according to police. A subsequent investigation by the Washington Township Detective Bureau found video footage of Walters purchasing the items on the receipt and operating the stolen vehicle, police said.
