Celebrate Memorial Day and Sunshine this Weekend

It's Friday and the beginning of what will seem to be a summery holiday weekend. Start things off at the Brew Pub where Davey of Davey and the WaveRunners will be providing upbeat, live music. Celebrate Memorial Day on Saturday at Rock Spring Park with the Washington Township Veterans Association or at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm to watch war re-enactors. You Need to Observe Memorial Day with Local Veterans: Join Washington Township Recreation and the Washington Township Veterans Association at their annual Memorial Day Celebration on Saturday, May 28 at noon at Rock Spring Park. You Need Music and Brew: Davey of Davey and the WaveRunners will be playing tiki bar classics at the on Friday, May 27 at 9 p.m. Meet your friends and listen to live music while enjoying the Pub’s handcrafted brews!

You Need to Know about Memorial Day Closings: In observance of Memorial Day, the Washington Township Library will be closed from Saturday, May 28 until Monday, May 30 and the Washington Township recycling center will be closed on Saturday, May 28.

You Need to Meet World War I Re-enactors: WWI Decoration Day will take place at on May 28 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in Morristown.
