Cops: Schooley's Mountain Traffic Stop Leads to Heroin Arrest

A Pennsylvania man was arrested for possession of heroin in Long Valley late last week when his vehicle was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, Lt. Doug Compton said.

Just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, Officer Adam Feichter stopped Dustin Fisher, 26, from Cresco, Pennsylvania on Schooley’s Mountain Road, Compton said. When Feichter was speaking with Fisher, the officer observed drug paraphernalia inside the car in plain view, Compton said.

Further investigation found Fisher to be in possession of heroin, which was located inside the car, Compton said.

Fisher was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
