Cops: Stun Gun, Weed, Bong Found in Speeder's Car On Schooley's Mountain
Stop made during early morning hours Thursday, leading to arrest of Montana man, police report.
A Montana man stopped for speeding on Schooley’s Mountain Road just after midnight on May 28 was found to have a weapon and drugs in his car, Washington Township Police announced.
At 12:50 a.m. on Thursday, Officer Michael Thompson saw a silver sedan speeding on Schooley’s Mountain Road, Lt. Doug Compton said. When he stopped the vehicle, Thompson smelled marijuana coming from inside the car, Compton said.
The drive, John Sanderson, 22, of Billings, Montana, then allegedly told Thompson he had marijuana inside the car and turned over about one-half ounce of the narcotic to police, Compton said.
