Cops: Three Morris Suspects Tried To Collect On $20 Debt, Busted For Aggravated Assault

Three Morris County residents were charged with aggravated assault and burglary charges Monday after they allegedly tried to collect on a $20 debt, according to Parsippany police.
At 8:03 p.m., patrol officers responded to an apartment within Baldwin Manor, 200 Baldwin Rd., for a burglary. Upon their arrival, they were met by the apartment occupants, a 26-year-old female, a 22-year-old female and a 32-year-old male.
The victims advised the officers that three suspects came to the apartment to collect a $20 debt from the male victim. When the occupants refused to open the door, the suspects forced entry, inuring the 22 year old female’s arm.

The suspects fled the scene without collecting the debt. Their vehicle description, a 2007 white Chrysler 300 with black rims, was broadcast to surrounding officers.
The vehicle was observed by Patrol Sergeant M. LaManna at the intersection of Baldwin Rd. and Rt. 46. Sgt. LaManna conducted a motor vehicle stop and after identifying the occupants of the vehicle as the Burglary suspects, they were apprehended and transported to the Parsippany Police Headquarters.

Those arrested were: Rockaway resident Yaseen Abuzeed 21; Dover resident Natasha Salazar, 22; and Rockaway resident Adam Abuzeed 23. All were charged with burglary, conspiracy and aggravated assault.
Abuzeed was also issued a traffic summons for being an unlicensed driver. His bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option. Natasha Salazar was issued a bail of $20,000 with no 10 percent option and Adam Abuzeed was issued a bail of $30,000 with no 10 percent option. All three suspects were remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending their court appearances.
Parsippany Ambulance – Car 66 transported the injured victim to the St. Clare’s Hospital for a fractured arm.
