Drakestown Drainage Repair, Road Closure Begins Tuesday
Construction expected to last no more than one week.

Now that the prep work is done, construction workers are set to full rehabilitate a drainage structure on Drakestown Road in Washington Township.
But that construction will lead to a week’s worth of road closure to through traffic in the area.
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 20, work will begin approximately one mile from the intersection of Drakestown and Naughright Roads, and about 400 feet from the intersection of Drakestown and River Roads.

The work is expected to be complete by Jan. 27.
