Driver Charged In Fatal Morris County Crash

Three other passengers were injured in the crash that killed one, officials said.

DOVER, NJ — A Dover man has been arrested following a fatal crash early Sunday morning, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.

Javier Santos Archaga, 36 years old, of Dover, was arrested after police say he caused a fatal crash in Dover early on Sept. 24.

According to Knapp, Santos Archaga and four passengers were driving near Route 15 and Route 46 in Dover when the single car crash happened. One passenger died as a result, and the other passengers were all injured to varying degrees.

Santos Archaga was charged with death by auto, and three counts of assault by auto. He was taken to Morris County Correctional Facility with an upcoming hearing.
