Drunk Driver Crashed Off Long Valley Road: Police

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A drunk driver crashed her car off the road early Tuesday morning, Washington Township police said.

Emily Devine, 21, from Hackettstown, was driving on Camp Washington Road around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning when she allegedly drove off the road and crashed into a wooded area. Police say officers on the scene smelled alcohol on her breath.

She was arrested and charged driving while intoxicated, and issued tickets for reckless driving and failure to keep right.

The crash caused a small fluid spill, which the Long Valley Fire Company cleaned up. The Long Valley First Aid Squad also responded.
