Erratic Driving Leads To DWI Arrest: Washington Township Police

LONG VALLEY, NJ - A 38-year-old Mt. Olive man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Friday, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

Reports of an erratic driver brought Washington Township Police to Flocktown Road headed towards Schooley's Mountain Road, according to authorities.

According to police, Washington Township patrol officers located the car, operated by Richard Carbone and performed a motor vehicle stop. After the stop, Carbone was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was processed according to departmental procedure and released pending court, police said.
