 FREE TEEN PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS RUN BY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER

 FRIDAY, MARCH 18^{TH   AND}  FRIDAY, MAY 6^TH

WHERE: THE WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP TEEN CENTER –

1. Introduction to the basics of photography and function of the modern SLR digital camera.
2. Introduction to lighting techniques, both studio and ambient will be discussed.
3. How to communicate with your subject to put them at ease.  Using each other as models, we will create memorable portraits.  (this is the December workshop so we will also put them on cd for the kids in case they want to use them as gifts)
4. How to use depth of field and perspective to capture your artistic vision.
5. Using a guest model, we will explore how to create a portrait that serves their need. (whether it is a headshot, for a modeling portfolio, promo pics for a web-site)
6. Learning how to import digital images onto the computer and use Adobe Lightroom to make adjustments to color, crop etc.

COST: FREE

The Teen Center is open to 11 PM so please stay if you wish and enjoy the amenities…BRING NOTHING BUT YOURSELF…

WHAT IS THE TEEN CENTER? It is a SAFE, adult supervised drug free, alcohol free place where teens can come and hang with their friends. It has games and movies, a pool table, an art room and more. Even teens in Long Valley need a place of there own!

WHO CHAPERONES? One paid chaperone plus one parent volunteer per evening. To volunteer to chaperone, you can schedule yourself ahead of time so it is at your convenience if you choose. 

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR KIDS ARE? IF THEY ARE HERE, THEN WE BOTH DO!
