Fill ‘Er Up: Stuff The Bus Stocks Food Pantry Shelves
Annual fundraiser loads Washington Twp. Food Pantry with goods for those in need.
Another great effort, another tremendous outcome.
Once again the community came together on Oct. 26 to take part in the annual Stuff The Bus food drive to stock the shelves of the Washington Township Food Pantry at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church.
“We appreciate all who donated items, gift cards, and cash, the churches, organizations and businesses that spread the word, and all who came to help,” said the fundraiser’s organizing committee in a joint statement.

School students, along with more than 100 Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, and Cubs came out on National Make-A-Difference Day to help sort items, fill the bus, unload the bus, and pack everything away on the Pantry’s shelves.
Local teachers Debbie Dickinson and Diane McManus took charge of keeping the process running smoothly, and Dunkin’ Donuts provided snacks for the early-morning volunteers.
