Hearing Moved For Long Valley Man Who Threatened Ex With Knife

Ryan Brennan, 29, remains jailed on $200K bail.

The Long Valley man accused of stealing a car and threatening his ex-girlfriend with a knife after an hours-long manhunt in early January won’t see a courtroom until March.

Officials from Sussex County Courthouse said Brennan’s Feb. 9 court date had been moved to March 16, and the 29-year-old remains held on $200,000 bail.

Brennan was arrested by New Jersey State Troopers on Jan. 5 hours after his parents called police to say their son had left the family’s Fawnridge Drive-area home with a knife, allegedly threatening to hurt himself.
