Hopatcong Woman Charged With Biting Police Officer: Police
Mount Olive Police say she bit one officer and kicked another.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — A Hopatcong woman is accused of biting a police officer during a drunk driving arrest, Mount Olive police said in a statement.
On May 21 at 4:16 a.m., officers stopped Heather L. Hart, 31, of Lake Hopatcong, on Route 80 after they say she was driving in and out of her lane. Hart failed field sobriety tests, and was taken to the Mount Olive police headquarters for processing.
There, police say Hart refused a breathalyzer test and began kicking a processing room door, damaging it. Two officers restrained Hart, and she is accused of kicking one and biting the other, police said.
