Last (and First) Chance: Three Penny Opera

Just four performances at Centenary

For just four days, starting Thursday night, the Centenary College Theatre Department will present "The Three Penny Opera" by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.

Here's the department's description: "This groundbreaking musical is funny, moving and powerful as Mack the Knife, Polly Peachum, Tiger Brown and the inhabitants of London's criminal classes go about their life in Victorian England. Featuring classic numbers like 'Mack the Knife' and 'Pirate Jenny' this is a wonderful opportunity to see why this musical has remained a fixture on stages all over the world! One week only!

The show is Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Sitnik theater. Call 908-979-0900 or visit centenarystageco.org for tickets.
