Learn CPR For Free In Long Valley
The police department is offering a free CPR training to the community-- but registration is limited.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — When you hear about police saving heart attack victims, police usually only get the chance to help because the family kept the victim astable until trained professionals could get there. Now, the Washington Township Police Department wants to make sure everyone is ready to save a life, and is offering free CPR training.
The training will be held on Nov. 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The class is open to all Washington residents, and will feature the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR and AED for Adults Program. Space is limited to the first 16 residents who apply.
Update 9/29: November's class is full. There will be more dates in 2018, police said.
