Table of Hope was founded by Rev. Dr. Sidney Williams, pastor of Bethel Church in Morristown and Board member of Morris Habitat. Following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Williams converted a bus used to pick up food into a mobile food pantry to deliver groceries directly to local neighborhoods.
Since that time, Table of Hope has served more than 9,000 families and delivered more than 220 tons of food. Table of Hope receives food from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, local farms and food service companies.
