Long Valley Black Lives Matter March Friday
The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Palmer Park.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - A Long Valley Black Lives Matter March is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Palmer Park.
According to organizers, members of the community will be speaking at the event, which is to honor the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and all those whose lives have been lost to racial injustice and police brutality.

- Arrive at Palmer Park no later than 5:30 p.m.
- Wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines
- Bring signs, posters, and their voice
- Factor in time, parking and weather
"There will be a peaceful presentation at Palmer Park on Bartley Road, to address the current issues facing our society," the Washngton Township Police said in a statement. "At some point, the group will walk to the area of South Four Bridges Road before returning back to the park. The township and police department are aware of the event and working closely with its organizers to ensure the safety of everyone involved."
