"This idea was brought to my attention by Chester Borough Mayor Janet Hoven. My fellow Mayors and I agreed that it would be a beautiful sound on Easter Sunday across Morris County and lift people's spirits in this difficult time," Murello said. "This will provide us with a collective time to reflect on the events of the day; to say a prayer or send a good thought for those suffering from COVID-19, the healthcare workers at the hospitals, our own first responders who are on the front line when a 911 call comes in, all the essential workers, those working tirelessly to come up with a vaccine and drug protocol to fight the virus, our governmental leaders who are making tough decisions daily how to best protect all of us and for each other."
