Long Valley Food Pantry Shelves Nearly Bare as Spring Holidays Approach
Food drive coordinator says program in desperate need of assistance.

The number of families being served by the Long Valley Interfaith Food Pantry remains above 70, the highest the community program has seen in its decades-long service.
And right now, the shelves are nearly bare.
“The Easter season is one of our busiest times of need and typically one of the slowest times of donations,” said Food Drive Coordinator Margie Carberry. “This year seems a little bit worse. It seems as soon as we stock the shelves, they’re just about empty again.”
