Long Valley Police Make Multiple Traffic Stop Drug Arrests
The arrests happened over the past week.

Long Valley, NJ— Washington Township Police made multiple traffic stops this week which results in drug-related arrests. The following information comes from the WTPD police blotters.
Jan 14, 12:04 a.m.: Brandon Hart, 25, of Belvidere, was in a parked car in a parking lot after hours when Officer Kevin Barnes stopped to speak to him. Barnes reported smelling marijuana, and found the drug and paraphernalia in the car.
Hart was issued a Criminal Complaint charging him with Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hart was later released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

Jan. 15, 11:23 p.m.: Cooper Collier, 20, of Belvidere, was pulled over by Officer Kevin Barnes for a traffic stop. Barnes reported smelling marijuana, and found the drug and paraphernalia in the car.
Collier was issued a Criminal Complaint charging him with Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia along with a Motor Vehicle Complaint charging him with Driving Without a Driver’s Side Mirror. Mr. Collier was later released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

Jan. 18, 7:25 p.m.: Emilie Phillips, 20, of Washington, was pulled over by Sgt. Robert Oranchak for a traffic stop. Oranchak reported smelling marijuana, and found the drug in the car.
Phillips was issued a Criminal Complaint for Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia along with motor vehicle complaint for improper use of a Cellular Device, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and Driving while Suspended. Phillips was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
Jan. 19, 12:25 a.m.: Thomas Vazquez, 24, of Blairstown, was pulled over by Officer Kevin Barnes for a traffic stop. Barnes reported smelling marijuana, and found the drug and paraphernalia in the car.
Vazquez was issued a Criminal Complaint charging him with Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, along with a Motor Vehicle Complaint charging him with Maintenance of Lamps. Vazquez was later released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
Jan. 19, 3:16 p.m.: Joyce Springer, 21, of High Bridge, was pulled over by Officer Derek Heymer for a traffic stop. Heymer reported smelling marijuana, and found drug paraphernalia in the car.
Springer was issued a Criminal Complaint for Possession of drug paraphernalia along with a motor vehicle complaint for having an expired registration and an expired inspection sticker. Springer was later released with a pending court date to appear in the Washington Township Municipal Court.
