Major Road Construction In Long Valley This Week

LONG VALLEY, NJ — With a major road project coming up in Long Valley, drivers can expect major delays and disruptions to their commutes.

Beginning on August 7, Naughtright Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic as roadwork is completed. The construction will begin at 7 a.m. and last through 5 p.m., Monday Through Friday, police said.

During work hours, Naughright Road will be reduced to one lane of travel of alternating traffic between Flocktown Road to Fawnridge Drive. During repaving, the road will be totally closed with a detour in place.

The road work is expected to last three weeks. Drivers should plan alternate routes, and expect a large amount of congestion in the area.
