Man Charged In Connection With Long Valley Car Crash
The 22-year-old male from Hackettstown was driving while intoxicated, according to police.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Hackettstown man was arrested and charged this week in connection with an overturned car crash that occurred in the early evening of Monday, July 11, according to the Washington Township Police Department.
The 22-year-old, who has not been identified publicly, was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to keep right.
On July 11, shortly after 6 p.m., members of the Washington Township Police Department responded to the area of 98 Naughright Road after receiving reports of an overturned vehicle.

When police arrived on the scene the 22-year-old was standing on the side of the roadway, unharmed.
The driver of the vehicle was the only occupant, according to the preliminary investigation, and he was driving while intoxicated, police said.

The driver has been given an initial pending court date of July 28.
